Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 June 2026
This page explains what personal data tchlih.com collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights. We collect as little as we can and keep it for as short as we can.
Data we collect automatically
- Server logs: your IP address, user-agent, referring URL, the page you requested and the timestamp. Retained 30 days, then deleted.
- Privacy-focused analytics: we use a self-hosted/anonymised analytics setup that does not store cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personal identifiers. We see aggregate page-view counts and country-level traffic; we do not see individual user journeys.
- Affiliate-click logs: when you click an outbound affiliate link, the destination operator may set its own tracking parameters. Read the operator's privacy policy — once you leave our site, we are no longer in control.
Data you give us
- Email: if you contact us, sign up to the newsletter, or submit a correction, we have your email and whatever else you put in the message. We use it to respond and (for the newsletter) to send the monthly briefing. We never sell it, and you can unsubscribe with one click.
What we do NOT collect
- Your real name unless you give it to us
- Your gambling activity at any operator
- Payment details — we don't process payments
- Cross-site behavioural-advertising IDs
- Persistent first- or third-party tracking cookies (see cookie policy)
Who we share data with
- Our hosting and CDN providers see your IP at the time you request a page. They are bound by data-processing agreements.
- Email provider for newsletter sends — your email address only.
- No advertising networks. We don't run banner ads. Affiliate links are not the same as advertising trackers; we don't share data with adtech.
- Law enforcement only when required by valid legal process in our home jurisdiction (DIFC, UAE).
Your rights
If you are in the UAE, EU/UK, or another jurisdiction with data-subject access rights, you can:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion
- Withdraw consent for any processing based on consent (e.g. newsletter)
- Object to processing for any reason
- Complain to your local supervisory authority
Email: [email protected]. We respond within 30 days; usually faster.
Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, contact us and we will delete it immediately.
Changes
If we change this policy materially, the "last updated" date above changes, and material changes are also surfaced in the monthly newsletter.
