Editorial Policy
This page is how we govern ourselves. Read it if you are a reader who wants to know whether to trust us, an operator who wants to dispute a claim, or a regulator who wants to audit how we make editorial decisions.
Editorial independence
Editors are paid a salary. No editor is paid per click, per referral, or per dollar of operator revenue. If an editor is pressured to change a score, claim, or recommendation for commercial reasons, the editor is required to refuse and is protected from retaliation. Pressure incidents are logged and reported quarterly to the publisher's board.
The publisher (Paradise Media DMCC) does not have a seat at the editorial table. Editorial decisions are made by the editorial team alone.
Sources and citations
- Every legal claim cites a primary statute (national gazette, regulator portal, ministry publication) where one exists. Where we paraphrase, we link to the source.
- Every numeric claim is sourced. Where the source is secondary, the page says so.
- Every bonus claim is timestamped. Bonuses change weekly; we re-verify monthly.
- Every Quranic citation includes Surah and verse numbers and uses standard Uthmani script.
How we test
See the dedicated how-we-review page. Summary: real deposit, ≥30 min play, KYC, withdrawal-to-bank timed to the minute, support ticket. Every entry in our top 10 has been through this protocol within the last six months.
How we score
See the dedicated scoring rubric. Six criteria, weighted, with automatic-downgrade triggers.
Dispute process
If you are an operator who believes we have made a factual error, scored you unfairly, or treated you in a way that breaches this policy:
- Email [email protected] with the specific URL, the specific claim or score in dispute, the rubric criterion you believe was misapplied, and your evidence (screenshots, license documentation, withdrawal logs, support-ticket transcripts).
- We acknowledge within 2 working days.
- The reviewing editor investigates within 10 working days. A second editor (not the original reviewer) audits the investigation.
- If we were wrong: we publish a correction at the top of the article and update the score within 24 hours of the investigation closing.
- If you were wrong: we record the dispute outcome in our audit log. If you re-submit the same dispute on the same grounds within 12 months we may decline to investigate again unless new evidence is offered.
- If we cannot agree: you may escalate to the relevant regulator (your gaming licence authority) and we will cooperate with any regulator-led inquiry.
Affiliate disclosure
See affiliate disclosure. Short version: we get paid when you sign up via our links; this never affects scores.
Conflicts of interest
If an editor has a personal relationship with anyone at an operator under review — current employment, prior employment within the last 2 years, family relation, or financial interest — they recuse from the review. Recusal is logged. The publisher itself does not hold equity in any operator we review.
Corrections
Reader corrections: [email protected]. We publish corrections at the top of the affected article with the date.
Page-level audit metadata
Every page on this site carries: author byline, fact-checker byline, "last updated" date, and (for legality content) "last fact-checked" date. Schema.org markup includes these as author, dateModified, and (where applicable) reviewedBy properties.
Updates to this policy
Material changes are surfaced in the monthly newsletter for 30 days. The "last updated" date above tells you when the latest revision was made.
